Question: Identify a training or educational gap, issue, or problem within the Army The student develops a suitable CE for the topic and then facilitates the P&P. During the GNI step of the practicum, the student may elect to use the group discussion MOI to discuss the advantages or disadvantages to using communities of practice as a way to address the issue. The student might also use the brainstorming MOI to determine which adult learning strategies are most appropriate to help solve the problem or to help students (the staff in an operational setting) determine the cause or potential solutions for the identified issue. When ready and the GNI is complete, the student moves on to the Develop and Apply steps of the ELM to complete their practicum as it's captured in the Advanced Organizer.
