AGAIN BUSINESS IS TWISTED SISTERS!

The client I choose is Twisted Sisters, which is the name of a unique gift shop located in Indianapolis,Indiana. The gift shops sell a lot of handcrafted items. From home decor,accessories,wedding gifts,Christmas gifts,kitchen wear, knick knacks and so much more.A lot of the items are handcrafted by the local artist in the area. So a lot of people go to the shop to not only to find unique gifts but also to support a local artist. The shop opened in 2008 and is owned by two sisters who were the only staff in the shop. Up until they located to a bigger shop and better location that will give them more foot traffic. Since the move, I think now is a good time to create a better social media presence. As of not, they have their own web page but also a facebook page and that is it. Their facebook page 1427 people who have liked their page and 64 customer reviews. Which isn't terrible but I think can be improved. I tink its great they already have a facebook page. I think twitter will be another great social media outlet to use and they can link their facebook and twitter together. That way their tweets can be sent to facebook as well. Which can help with promoting regularly on both pages but also saving time. Another social media outlet that will be good for them is Instagram. They can use Instagram to post the new inventory or specialty items they have from a local artist. I think that will be good for showcasing their items but also telling people to come in and shop!

As stated Twisted Sisters is a unique gift shop. Although there are gift shops in the area like Neat-O and silver in the city. None are quite like the twisted sister, wouldn't put them in a regular category of a traditional gift shop.

An investigative report with your social media strategy. Your report must contain at least two relevant and original visuals that you create and that help to further the reader's understanding of the topic. Additionally, this report is research-based and should contain at least 4-5 references in APA format. Topics your report should address include:

1. Introduction: Background and description of the organization/cause and its current social media use, if any.

2. Competition: Identification and analysis of the organization's/cause's competitors. What are some similar organizations/causes to yours, and what are they doing with social media?

3. Audience profile(s): Who are the targeted audiences you are attempting to reach with social media. Explain.

4. Social Media Plan: This section should be the most detailed and include: A specific social media plan, and specifics on how each social media network will be used and why.

• Appendix: An appendix that includes at least 3 or 4 original and representative examples targeted toward different social media of what the social media presence will look like. For example, if you are proposing a Twitter presence, provide a list of a few actual tweets you would use on behalf of the organization/cause. If you are proposing a blog on Tumblr, provide an example of an initial blog post. If you are proposing a presence on Instagram or Pinterest, provide a sample of the actual images you would post there. And so on. In each instance, provide not only the examples, but also justify why they are effective/relevant. Note: These examples should be included in the appendix only; do not post them live on social media, unless you have permission from the organization.
