Question: Respond In 400 Words
I preferred 'Willie, my Thirteen Year Old Teacher". It just shined the light on how some people are less fortunate than others but still manage to be proud of what they have. Willie didn't have a lot like Scott but he was grateful for the small things. Scott hooked me as a reader because unfortunately I had the poverty experience growing up and its not a good feeling when other kids are bragging about things that you have no clue as to what their talking about. When Scott was saying he was going to chill out and keep cool, Willie could only imagine because he had no way to keep cool in his home. I plan on revising my essay to put a little more emphasis on how hardheaded little girls are when they reach puberty and think they're women.
