Part A:
- Make any adjustments to your site design according to feedback or further knowledge that you have gained.
- Code your basic HTML pages and CSS stylesheet/s. Keep in mind web standards & best practices when writing your code.
- Select appropriate areas to apply additional interactivity using JavaScript. If, in your design document, you did not allow for or include any
behavioural elements that would require the use of JavaScript, you will need to identify areas of the site where this can be added.
- Validate as you go to ensure your code is free from errors.
- Comment your JavaScript to demonstrate your understanding.
Part B:
Your implementation will be marked according to the following criteria:
Technical Proficiency:
- HTML has been implemented to a high standard - well structured and semantically correct, no errors in work (either through validation or presentation).
- CSS has been implemented to a high standard, no errors in work (either through validation or presentation). Styling is consistent across the site.
- JavaScript elements are highly appropriate, fully functioning and have been implemented to a high standard. Commenting demonstrates a high level of understanding.
- Clear separation of Structure, Presentation & Behaviour in code.
