Personal Application: Health Opinion Survey This week you will complete a Health Opinion Survey and submit your results. Some people prefer to be involved, active participants in their own health care whereas others prefer to rely on the opinions of professionals. The 16-item Krantz Health Opinion Survey (Krantz, Baum, & Wideman, 1980) measures preferences for different treatment approaches. The questionnaire asks you to agree or disagree with statements about your preferences in health care situations. Krantz and his colleagues divided the survey into two scales; one measures the desire for information and the other measures the extent of behavioral involvement in health care. Complete the following survey and submit your results. In a separate document, write a reaction paper to the survey, focusing on how you would interact with the two different types of patients.
