Assignment task: For this assignment, assume you are a U.S. ambassador and are preparing to pursue a policy that would be beneficial to the United States.
Create a PowerPoint of at least ten slides that would be appropriate to present to a class of high schoolers. You should identify how you will pursue implementation of your policy and the challenges and pressures you will face in the process.
At a minimum, your PowerPoint must include the following:
- the policy, whether it is foreign or domestic, and why it is important;
- the role of political parties in the process;
- the role and influence of interest groups and citizens;
- the involvement and function of the federal government in the process;
- the ways the media will be used to influence the development and implementation of the policy.
