How you protect your privacy

Assignment task:

Prior to reading "I've Got Nothing to Hide" is that an argument you'd use when someone asks you about how you protect your privacy? Did the reading give you reason to reconsider your position? Are there any strengths or flaws to the "I've got nothing to hide" argument you can think of the author did not mention?

As mentioned in "Privacy - a very short introduction" were you aware of how long questions about privacy have been going on? Do you think of your life in terms of public and private spheres and segregate information about yourself - or are you an "open book" for all to read, as it were? Do you believe that the idea of being watched makes us behave better and follow the rules?
