My planned experience is called Natural Paint Exploration, where the children will be invited to assist in making paint from different fruits and spices, and then use paint brushes to create their own artworks using the natural watercolor paint.
Using blackberries to make purple, blueberries to make blue, tinned beetroot to make red, each child gathered around the table gets to have a turn using a potato masher to squish the fruit before adding a little water and stirring, then using a whisk to combine the turmeric with some water.
After exploring the textures and smells of the ingredients, they were provided with paint brushes and paper and encouraged to express their creativity freely
