I. it states, "...physical education, like any other content area, requires that adults take an active and deliberate instructional role." How could you be more "deliberate" in your interactions with children during gross motor play?
II. How can you be "deliberate" in your interactions without interrupting and/or being obtrusive to children? What cues or behaviors do you watch for when deciding to join or extend children's play?
III. How could one teacher (you! J) make a positive impact on how an entire program views their role in supporting young children in gross motor play? What actions could the teacher take to help all teachers in the program view their role differently?
