Part I: Introductions

Part II: Strategies to be Successful in this Class
Next, just so that we are all on the same page and getting this semester off to a good start, please respond to the following:
1. Plagiarism: What is plagiarism? (including self-plagiarism) (for more information see this link: CCCOnline Academic Integrity Policy) and what do you think the consequences should be if this occurs? What kind of help is available to you? Are you aware that all of your papers in this course will be submitted to "Turnitin," which is a plagiarism detection program?
2: Discussions: Active participation in the Discussions is a critical part of the learning in this course and you must be active if you want to earn the Discussion points. How might you contribute to building our online learning community through your participation in the discussions?
3. Time Management: The semesters go very quickly and we have a lot to accomplish. How will you make sure you can manage your time appropriately to meet all discussion and homework deadlines?
