i. Read the Chu (2013) and Chu and Garcia (2014) articles in the Learning Resources. Reflect on culturally-appropriate responses for and legal aspects of working with culturally and linguistically diverse students.
ii. Review the components of the reauthorized IDEA and identify those that relate to working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) students. What policies and procedures in your district, state, or nation address these components?
iii. Consider your current and past experiences working with CLD students. How have you addressed their differences and supported their needs?
