Assignment Task:
Learning about descriptive statistics. Your group will need to apply what you are learning about descriptive statistics in order to complete your research project. For this discussion, you will take into consideration the variables your group has already identified for your project and what you have learned about descriptive statistics in this module. Write an original post in which you address the questions listed below.
1. How would you go about describing the variables you have identified for your project?
2. What control variables do you think your group needs to test, and why?
3. What independent variables do you think your group needs to describe, and why?
4. What null hypotheses do you think your group needs to test? (For now, don't worry about how you would test your null hypotheses; this will be covered in the next module.)
After writing your original post, you will post a thoughtful reply to at least two of your peers.
Requirements:
Initial posts should be about 300 words in length. Make sure you answer all of the questions in the prompt in your initial post.
Topic is University Student Satisfaction and Life Balance in Online Learning
In Module 3, your team submitted a research proposal for your project. For this you are identifying factors related to overall student satisfaction at Wurzweiler. You identified a research question, a table of variables, and a research design.
In this module, you will complete the next stage of the research project: the literature review. The literature review will also be included in the introduction section of your team's final research report due in Module 7.
The topic of writing a literature review was first covered back in Module 3. It is recommended that you go back to the Module 3 lecture page and re-watch the video on literature reviews if you need a refresher. Complete the steps outlined below. Please note that all group members are required to contribute to the literature review.
For your submission, your group must complete the following:
Find scholarly articles related to the topic of your research project. Each team member should contribute at least three articles to the literature review.
Write your literature review summarizing what you found from your research. The following are characteristics of a well-written literature review:
Common ideas are grouped together.
The information is presented in a logical order that makes sense to the reader.
The information is comprehensive; if you find any gaps in your findings, you may need to do more research first.
All references cited in the literature review should be provided in APA format.
The literature review should be scholarly and inclusive.
