Problem
Imagine you are clerk for one of the justices currently on the Supreme Court and you have been asked to prepare a summary of Marshall's Ideas taken from McCulloch v. Maryland as part of a case about legislative authority that the court needs to decide. How would you explain the significance of the McCulloch decision and what would you write about Marshall's interpretation of the Constitution? Why do you think the McCulloch case is so important? Do whatever additional research is necessary to make sure you are familiar with the case and its significance in order to write detailed and thoughtful comments.
