Descartes claims that our will is not restricted in any way. Assess the following objection to this claim:
"It is false that our will is not restricted in any way, since I cannot just will to do anything. If the will is a power to bring something about, and my will is not restricted in any way, then I should have the power to bring everything about. But I do not have the power to bring everything about. Therefore, it if false that my will is not restricted in any way."
How would Descartes respond to this objection?
