Assignment:
Select an organization that you may already be familiar with or any other organization that you intend to research and provide a description and analysis of its culture and any distinctive sub -cultures that may exist.
Questions:
1) How would you characterize its overall culture and any unique sub -cultures that developed? Be specific.
2) What are the associated pros and cons of such cultures? Give an example of an aspect of culture that can be regarded as a strength and a weakness.
3) In what ways does the organization's culture help and/ or hinder performance? Show how culture matters for better or worse.
4) Out of the culture dimensions that you discovered, which dimension do you think would lead to higher levels of employee satisfaction and retention? Which one would be most related to organizational performance?
5) What is the difference between observable and core culture? What evidence of either/ both aspects are evident in your chosen organization?
