Discussion: "The Yellow Wall-Paper" by Charlotte Perkins Stetson.
Could the wallpaper have been any other color? How would a change in color have changed the story? How does the color "yellow" affect you? Do you like (or dislike) it? What are the psychological implications of the color "yellow"? How would a different color change the story?
You may also post reactions you had to this story - for example, you might want to speculate about what actually happened in the end of the story. Did the narrator die? Do you consider her a hero or a victim by the end of the story? Why do you think the author chose to make the ending so unclear? You could and should also make connections between this story and "The Story of an Hour."
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
