Problem
Now that you have had practice making pitches, it is your job to come up with a creative pitch for an original short story that you wish to turn into a short film. Be sure it is a short story you feel passionate about because your third assignment for this unit will be writing the story out in full.
Refer to the article on pitches as a reminder of what to and not to do when pitching.
The more creative and engaging you are, the better. Visuals are recommended. You can use a PPT, a video, music or any other props.
Your pitch must be no longer than 2 minutes. Once the timer goes off, you must stop talking.
Remember, the more creative you allow yourself to be, the higher your grade. You MUST stand and face the audience when presenting as you are treating them as potential buyers. Remember, you need to sound excited about your idea or else how will you convince us to care?
