We can agree that creating and launching a NEW Major Sporting Event takes much time, thought, partnerships and ultimately, extensive planning and development. The article above details the vision for a reset of the XFL professional football league, set to relaunch in early 2020.
As related specifically to the XFL and to our "Moser Wheel" regarding the overall sports landscape in February/March/April each year, here are some considerations for you to tackle (pun intended).
· Overall, do you believe this event will succeed, immediately or long term - and why or why not.
· There is a big financial investment here - does the upside for an "off-season" pro football league outweigh the downside (think Pros & Cons here). What is the Risk / Reward factor?
· How will the XFL "break through the clutter" to attract fans both nationally and globally?
· What 3 or 4 platform(s) would make the most sense to drive revenue (tickets, broadcast, etc.)
