Problem: The emotions expressed in the short film are very real for both children in care and those that work with them. In relation to the foster mother, we see her empathizing with Zoe rather than trying to correct her behavior. When working with potential caregivers, how do we promote these types of parenting behaviors? How would you teach a parent to have these responses, which are very different than their "usual" parenting style? What factors must be taken into account when working with temporary caregivers of traumatized children/teens?
