I am trying to understand which empiricist that was most directly in conflict theories and why? Was it John Locke, George Berekely, John Stuart Mill? If someone could just point me in the right direction please I would be truly greatful!!
How was Wundt's psychology influenced by the preceding and/or current work of the predominantly British empiricists? Also, although he disagreed with most of the philosophy that the empiricists offered, which one of the British empiricists posited theories that weremost directlyin conflict with Wundt's? Hint:Be sure to include and focus on Wundt's idea ofvoluntarismand his doctrine ofapperception(law of psychic resultants).
