Problem 2: How was colonization a contributing factor in the Metis people's loss of connection to and understanding of their native land and how did it result in the loss of knowledge and practices that could not be passed down to subsequent generation? (Prior to 1951)
Problem 3: How did colonialism caused the Métis people to be physically and mentally displaced as a result of being subjected to horrific violence and abuse and how did this resulted in a sense of alienation and isolation? (Prior to 1951 and residential schools can be mentioned)
