This week's PowerPoint assignment is, in part, a summary of your research paper. Understanding the idea of a summary is important to creating a good PowerPoint. You may want to do a little online research and add your own thinking to these questions for discussion: What is the core concept of a summary? How do you find the main points of a document in order to summarize it? Do you have any 'tips' you can share with your classmates in finding the main points for a summary? How does using parallel construction in a list of sentences or phrases help the reader understand main points?
