Mission, Vision, Purpose, and Success How can understanding the mission, vision, and purpose of a university that you enrolled for your education help you succeed? Although unrelated to the courses I take, the mission and vision of the university provide a way for me to share with family and friends why I am getting my degree in healthcare. Focusing on the same mission as my faculty and classmates provides a shared sense of purpose that will help me through the tough times. The university's purpose is the only way for graduates to transform the future of healthcare in the face of climate change.
