Below are lists of guiding questions to help you write your paper. Clearly there is overlap in some of these, the lists are meant to help you to think through your group process and your own leadership style within the group.
You were asked to select three areas of leadership you wished to develop in this group process. Please be certain to discuss this.

2. How did you determine tasks and responsibilities within the group?
3.What do you see as the team's strengths and weaknesses?
4.What were your rolesin the group?
5.What changes would you make to improve performance if the group were to continue on to the next semester?

1.Did you achieve an interdependent, co-ordinated effort?
2.How did the group function? Did you rotate leadership? Were there informal leaders and someone ‘in charge"? Did everyone exercisea leadership function?
3.Did you support each other, and if so how? If not, what do you attribute this to?
4.Were you able to create a sense of trust?
5.Were you able to develop certain leadership qualities?
6.At any point in the group process do you feel you compromised, or compromised too much?

1.Were you interdependent in your tasks? Did one person carry the weight for the group?

4.What kind of decision-making process did you have? Did you take too long to decide things?Were you to quick to decide and not consider enough alternatives?

6.Was there team problem solving? Did you confront mistakes or lack of follow-through?
7.Was there a positive relationship between the team's goals and your personal goals?
8.Did you make time as a group to reflect upon your process?
AS A TEAM MEMBER
1.Did you compromise your standards just to get agreement?
2.Did you feel invited to express your individual creativity?
3.Did you feel frustrated along the way? Was it possible to discuss this within the group?
4.Did you evolve as a team member? Were you able to think more deeply about aspects of leadership, given the team experience and the content of your presentation topic?
Please refer back to Chapter 9 as you sit down to write this paper. It may be that using the stages of effective team development is helpful, or it may not be the case.
