How to simulate the compensation planning process


Problem:

This term project is designed to simulate the compensation planning process from the development of a compensation strategy to its implementation. There are five (5) sections of the assignment, each section of the Case study is dependent on the work in the prior section(s).  For example, in Part 1 - Internal Alignment you are expected to provide job descriptions for the positions identified in the Compensation Strategy of the case.  Similarly, Part 4 - Management of the Compensation system must be consistent with the Compensation Strategy and Parts 1 through 3 of the case. Please note that any discussion with respect to employee benefits (Chapter 9), Roles of Government (Chapter 12), or unionized employees are out of scope for this case study.
