Another significant advancement in science is the ability to reduce or even eliminate disease and improve peoples' general quality of life. But, if the procedure isn't done correctly, there may be genetic problems. You won't have a "designed kid," but you will struggle more to raise a child. Genetic engineering will also undoubtedly be expensive, so only the extremely wealthy will have access to it. Many may feel it is unfair and this can lead to issues because the wealthy can do this to their advantage.
