Project: Security enabled parallel connection for intercom
Project objectives
The prime objective of the project is to describe how to generate many of the signals and used it to the concern field of communication system and process. The project is designated as educational tools such as in the colleges or training institutions, to give a clear understanding of signals types. However the paper principally focused on signal generator process, there are additional objectives that are planned below
- One application generating many signals (sin, cos, square, triangle, DC with positive and negative, AM, FM, SSB, DSB-SC, random signal, random binary signal).
- Educational tool that helps in teaching signal types.
- To be available in the network to be used by students, teachers and other.
Brief Description:
The project is designed to maintain secrecy among four parallel telephones connected to a single telephone line. When more than one phone is connected to a single telephone line, anyone can lift a phone to hear the conversation on the other one. The proposed system provides a solution for the secrecy among the telephones connected. In order to meet this requirement we are using 4 telephones connected in parallel through a single telephone line with each telephone connected through a relay in the system. When any one of the telephone is lifted all other phones are disconnected by the relays through an arrangement of opto-couplers, the output of which is fed to a programmable arduino. The arduino sends a signal to a 7 Segment display to display which telephone is lifted; while other telephones are disconnected by the respective relays with help of a Relay Driver IC interfaced to the arduino and integrations between switch and telephone line. The system will provide the security system by using the switch to exchange the call. Also, the system will provide identify switch to exchange the call between user. This Project can be used in houses and offices where more than one telephone is connected in parallel through a single telephone line. The project is suitable for both incoming and outgoing calls .Further the project can be enhanced by adding more number of phones with an intercom facility. An incoming caller id facility can also be added to it.
Objectives:(Objectives are written based on the output of the project) Objectives of this project are as follow:
(i)- Intended to protect the contact between users.
(ii)-Communication between users of the way through the operator change.
(iii)-Control communication between the user and can be off and convert the line between them.
(vi)-The system will provide the security system by using the exchange switch with password circuit.
