Problem:
As the project Manager for ACME Retail, we are seeing challenges with customer service, including extended waiting periods, uneven encounters, and a deficiency in tailored suggestions. To address these difficulties, we have suggested incorporating AI-driven chatbots. These chatbots are specifically programmed to engage with customers, address inquiries, and offer tailored recommendations, with the goal of improving the entire customer experience. To ensure the quality of the AI-driven chatbot project at ACME Retail, a comprehensive Quality Management Plan (QMP) will be established. This plan will define the processes, methodologies, and standards to guarantee the successful implementation of the project. A specific change that could be requested during the project execution of integrating AI-driven chatbots into ACME Retail's customer service is the enhancement of chatbots' emotional intelligence. Initially, the project may focus on the technical aspects of understanding and responding to customer inquiries. However, as the project progresses, feedback from early users might indicate that while chatbots are efficient in providing information, they lack the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to the emotional tone of customer inquiries. This feedback could come from customer surveys, user experience studies, or direct feedback collected via the digital platform Suppose you and your team members have just accomplished a major project milestone. As a project manager, you will be required to develop a project performance report at the current stage of project execution to reflect this milestone. This report will be presented to the project steering committee, who will critically review your project performance. Please prepare the report in the context of your proposed project. Describe the work completed when your project has reached the current major milestone. Research and list with justifications what has worked well until this point in your project execution. Describe any impediments faced or anticipated in the execution of your project. Propose resolutions for the above impediments to facilitate continued progress of your project. Explain the effect of the above impediments on your project's estimated cost and time. Please discuss in the context of the WBS or Gantt chart you created previously for your project. Calculate your project's current estimate at completion (EAC), which may require you to make some assumptions as well as the new estimated time to complete. The values used in this calculation should be based on your project's initial projections as well as on the situations that are currently impacting its progress.
