How to determine if there is a quality issue

Assignment task:

In Lesson, we discussed how to determine if there is a quality issue to measure and access. Meaning, once you have determined there is a quality problem, how do you assess the scope of the problem? This assignment will have you look at quality in terms of and defining how quality can negatively impact an organization if you are not continuously measuring it. For any healthcare activity or quality initiative, three performance factors are measured and accessed so that quality outcomes are measured continuously. Processes are measured and accessed by studying the structure, process, and outcome. Use the scenario below to complete this assignment: Scenario Upon arrival, the patient reports to the hospital registration or admitting area. The patient completes paperwork and provides an insurance identification card, if insured. Often, patients register before the date of hospital admission to facilitate the registration process. An identification bracelet, including the patient's name and doctor's name, is placed around the patient's wrist. Before any procedure is performed or any form of medical care is provided, the patient is asked to sign a consent form. If the patient is not feeling well, a family member or caregiver can help the patient complete the admission process. Need Online Tutoring?
