Problem:
The State of Arkansas has very limited revenue. More and more, educators, both secondary and college educators, are being forced to try to do more with less. In other words, educators and administrators are being forced to deal with reduced budgets and more students. One of the problems is that there are so many small school districts in this state. One possible proposal is to create regional schools to serve more students in was has been called a more efficient manner. Many students (and parents) in smaller districts opposethis plan because they argue that bigger does not mean better. Those same parents/students want the same offerings for students as the larger schools are able to offer. What's to be done?
