How to become a successful hr

Discussion:

My Plan for becoming a Successful HR personality like my role, Hank Jackson

Hank Jackson is one of the personalities in Human Resource that I really admire. He has worked with SHRM for about five years now. Before his role as the CEO, he was the chief global finance and business affairs officer in the company. I choose Jackson as a role model due to his outstanding abilities in running companies. In fact the directors while appointing him to that position expressed their satisfaction with him heading the company. It was due to his performance in matters to deal with critical business functions that lead to his appointment. His duties before he became a CEO, included information technology, finance and accounting, global marketing and publishing and e-media. What is the secret attributed to his success and what may be his level of education and has the education played part in his success? Are there some challenges that Hank Jackson meets in his field as leader in human resource and how does he overcome them? These are some of the critical questions that this proposal will try to answer.

Research into Hank Jackson indicates that he has a degree in bachelors of Science degree from the college of Stone hill in Massachusetts. He is also a certified public accountant. I have also established that Hank held senior positions in Howard University in Washington D.C. There he served as Chief financial officer, senior vice president and also as a treasurer. He had also worked in other various companies including Films Main Hurdman and KMPG. To complete my research on the factors which attribute Hank's success, I will extract more information on the secondary sources of data. These sources will include books, magazines and newsletters. I may also consider calling him direct using telephone communication or send him mails. However I might get challenges of finances, securing appointments and reaching him through telephone. This is because of the busy schedule such officers usually have. In this case therefore I will opt for the secondary data in providing much of the information concerning this topic. The secondary data may be biased but if well used, it will give good reflection of this problem.
