The purpose of this demonstration is for you to show how to appropriately respond to baby signs and cues.
While you are performing the task, you must demonstrate the following:
- Identify and respond to signs and cues of tiredness
- Identify and respond to signs and cues of hunger
- Identify and respond to signs and cues of play
- Identify and respond to signs and cues of over stimulation
- Assist in the transition from home to care by initiating engagement with babies while the family is still present. Gather information from the family to assist with this transition time.
