Assignment task:
1. Select three sites to critique. You may select from a variety of sites: a licensed center, a licensed family home provider, a preschool, or a K-3 classroom.
2. Request the written guidance policy for each site you select, or, if available, find the policy online.
3. Review the policy for each site.
4. Submit a written review/critique of each policy.
For each, be sure to include:
- The name of the site.
- A link to the guidance policy, or if you received a printed policy, be prepared to submit it upon request.
- Identify sections that align with the Principles of Positive Guidance from the text - list the specific principles and how the policy supports them.
- Provide a summary of the pros and cons of the policy.
Compare and contrast the three policies - how are they similar? How are the different?
