Generation X (early 1960s to 1980s) and Generation Y (early 1980s to early 1990s) or Millennials (born after late 1990s) were the first generations to grow up with technology. Gen Xers grew up using desktops and laptops while Millennials inculcated social media and social networking technologies. Each of these age groups' lives have been largely influenced by various technologies. How they choose to transition their technology-influenced set of values in the workplace is the crux of this discussion question.
