1. Explain the importance of the inclusion of the ELA-ELD Framework's literacy themes in the Literacy TPEs.
2. Identify which Literacy TPEs align with the following language literacy domains: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
3. Briefly describe the 5 themes of English language arts. (Note: These themes are found in the Framework and in the Literacy TPEs document.)
4. Choose 1 theme and elaborate on a strategy that you found in the Framework for how the theme would be taught in the classroom.
5. Given what you have learned about the science of reading, detail any questions you have as you explored the Literacy Teaching Performance Expectations document and the ELA-ELD Framework.
