Directions
We will continue to work on the due diligence analyses of the three countries. For each chosen country,
Canada - developed country,
China - emerging country,
South Africa - developing country,
you will write up your analysis of doing business based on your readings on the websites provided and other research.
Be sure to include information on each country (above) from the cultural dimension theories of Geert Hofstede, Fons Trompenaars and the Globe Project. Address the following prompts:
• How do customs, manners and social structure figure into the mix?
• What are the differences you would expect to find in management styles between the selected country and the US?
• What special skills would be required to be an effective global leader?
• Be sure to discuss whether you think each country would be a good business fit for your company.
The expectation is for two pages per country. You should have a minimum of four references and associated in-text citations. APA (6th ed)
