You are to perform research on the subject of ethics and professionalism in accounting and auditing.
Write a one to two-page single-spaced paper that discusses the impact that regulations, accounting, and auditing standards have on the ethics of accountants and auditors and how these regulations, accounting, and auditing standards impact how they perform their work. You are to select either one of the following: (A) specific regulation, (B) specific accounting standard (C) specific auditing standard (D) specific professional standard. An example of a specific professional standard is the AICPA has a Code of Ethics that provides information on ethics.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
