Assignment: Explore The Competitive Advantage Of Data
Data management provides the initial building blocks of an effective KMS. Consideration should be given to how data are acquired, stored, and utilized. The transition of data to information to knowledge is paramount for successful managers and organizations. It is important to consider how data will be acquired, stored, and accessed by decision-makers.
After reading the assigned resources this week, please utilize the NCU Library and other academic sources of your choice, select three articles about the importance of data management and data quality, and prepare a 1- to 2-page summary of each. No article can be more than three years old. In your write-up, compare and contrast data management themes with the assigned readings. Address how technology managers can utilize data management considerations to develop a KM strategy.
