Problem
Here's your second task. You have 60 short passages that may or may not contain one of the reasoning flaws explained in the reading. You will need to analyze each passage, and if it has a flaw identify the flaw and briefly explain how the passage commits the flaw. The problems closely resemble the practice problems in the reading.
Work as a group to complete the task. I recommend that you ask each person in your group to answer the questions on their own before meeting as a group. That way, each person has something to bring to the table, be it an answer, a question, or an insight. Please do not just assign each person a certain number of questions. That is a waste of a good opportunity to improve your reasoning skills. I hope you enjoy the process of analyzing these questions as a group.
I. Describe the group or small group work experience that you are reflecting upon, in 50-100 words. Don't just name the assignment. Describe what you understood the project to be.
II. Reflect on the overall mechanics of your group and whether or not your group was able to implement strategies that support high-quality group work, or did you utilize a division-of-labor model? (Be honest.) Answer the questions in either A. or B., depending on the model you chose, in 150+
i. If your group implemented strategies that support high-quality group work benefits as discussed in "Learning Together at Cascadia": how successful (or not) were you in achieving the following specific benefits: academic achievement, skilled communication, and psychological health? Provide specific evidence from this document that supports your discussion.
ii. If your group followed a division-of-labor approach: why did you choose this method? How successful (or not) was this approach in achieving the benefits of small-group learning as discussed in "Learning Together at Cascadia"? Address the following specific benefits: academic achievement, skilled communication, and psychological health. Provide specific evidence from this document that supports your discussion.
