Problem: Statistical significance was demonstrated for a decrease in activity, an increase in sleep time, an increase in screen time, and an increase in food intake. Due to the negative impacts of the behavior change, it is reasonable to reject the null and support the alternative hypothesis that "youths with obesity, when removed from structured school activities and confined to their homes during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, will display unfavorable trends in lifestyle behaviors" (Pietrobelli et al., 2020, p. 1382).
