For this assignment, use the "3 Day Unit Plan Template" to outline a social studies unit plan for Kindergarten based on one or more Illinois state social studies standards currently being taught. Your unit plan should include developmentally appropriate, engaging instruction and activities based on social studies content standards and should provide students with opportunities for active inquiry, collaboration, and supportive interaction. You may refer to the tools and resources identified in Topic 1 and the "Assessment Tools Chart" in Topic 3. You will be developing full lesson plans based on your unit plan in Topics 5 and 7.
