How should aaron and miriam treat zipporah

Problem: Please read paragraph below. What would your response be?

For carpet/center time I do a Bible/History lesson every day. We are discussing Moses. Moses married a Cushite woman, in which most people believe she would be a dark-skinned woman. Moses's brother Aaron and sister Miriam, accuse Moses that he has too much authority over everyone even though he married a Cushite woman. God takes offense at it and inflicts Miriam with leprosy and turns her skin 'white as snow.

After telling the story to the children I would ask them about the characters in the story. Moses is doing what God wants and he happens to be married to a black woman. Aaron and Miriam are jealous and speak out against Moses's wife, Zipporah. I would ask the children if it was ok that Miriam and Aaron are talking bad about Moses's wife. I would ask how they could change the story, so Miriam doesn't get in trouble. What could she have done instead? How should Aaron and Miriam treat Zipporah? How would You feel if someone didn't like you just because of your skin color?
