Assignment task: Briefly explain the following question
Problem 1: How can selfies serve as a feminist tool in regard to art production, the gaze, and agency?
Problem 2: How do (self)representations of queer or non-normative bodies (including people of colour, people with disabilities, fat people, gender diverse people, trans people) challenge the male gaze, hegemonic gender norms, or 'femininity in service of heterosexuality'? How do these images maintain the male gaze?
Problem 3: In what ways are these images censored to different standards than normative/mainstream representations? Is this because they exist outside of the male gaze/do not serve the male gaze?
