How research convince consumers that certain product be good

Problem: Advertisers use research studies all the time to convince consumers that a certain product may be good or bad for them. We see it all the time but may no realize we are relying on research studies. For example, you may have seen an advertisement or an article that discuss the health benefits of drinking coffee.

Rarely do we think that the article was published by a coffee company to promote the purchase of coffee. You may have also seen advertisements and/or articles that discuss the negative health effects of drinking coffee. That advertisement or article was produced by a tea company to get people to drink tea instead of coffee. Have you ever wondered where the information for advertisements or articles comes from? They come from research studies.

Choose a product (any product), find an article that discusses the benefits of the product and an article that discusses the negative effects of the product. Your submission should include:

- Discuss the product.

- Summarize the article that discusses the positive aspects. Be sure to provide a reference for your source used.

-Summarize the negative effects of your articles. Be sure to provide a reference for your source using APA format.
