How physiologic needs is the base of the maslow pyramid

Problem: What are your thoughts?

Physiologic Needs is the base of the Maslow pyramid. These are biological requirements for human survival. According to psychologist Abraham Maslow, human beings' physiological needs for food, water, clothing, shelter, and sleep must be satisfied in order for them to address more complex needs like mental and physical health, relationships, sobriety, long-term housing, and employment. It is important for the student's physiological needs to be met in order for them to learn and with that being said in my classroom if the students are not able to bring a snack and for some reason, the school doesn't provide the snacks I will keep classroom appropriate snacks in the classroom. I will also allow students to nap if they cannot focus at all or anything. I will check in with each student to the best of my ability.
