Assignment task:
I'm struggling trying to answer this in a professional manner as my Professor this semester would like to know we would respond to this particular question. The nursing program I'm in is delivered in an accelerated and advanced formats. Describe how your personal qualities and personal and/or professional experiences have contributed to your academic success. Explain how they will contribute to your success in our rigorous nursing program and a career in nursing. Include challenges or obstacles you have overcome.
Challenges/obstacles - I was put on academic probation during my Spring 2018 semester at a community college because I graduated from HS in 2013 and didn't decide to go back to school until Fall 2017 and that spring I enrolled in 16 credits and didn't anticipate the workload. But I overcame that and graduated and transferred to my 4-year college and was accepted into 2 honor societies for academic excellence.
Work - I've been a certified pharmacy tech since 2013 and learned a lot from that job but other than that I don't have shadowing hours or volunteer work to expand on.
I'm not sure how to go about answering this question other than saying I'm committed and though some of my grades may not reflect that but I have the drive to never give up and I've improved since my time at community college.
