Problem: Performance measurement is an increasingly important aspect of modern management. You have been asked to collect and analyse data relating to the types of model currently used in the financial sector. The key performance measurement model you should study is the Business Excellence model (BEM). This model has its own particular characteristic, companies may use different mixes of the models and may or may not know which they are using - you cannot therefore simply ask which model is being applied. Your team must decide how to sample the population to ensure the data is representative, how you will collect data and how you intend to analyse it.
