As you have learned in this class, early research was WEIRD. Describe and explain to your peers, how WEIRD impacts your worldview and the worldviews of others. Consider variables, such as race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, immigration status, and religion that might affect your worldview but also how your worldview might affect members of marginalized groups. How might our worldviews act as a barrier for accessing psychological services, education, health care, employment, etc.? As a potential mental health care professional, how might WEIRD impact how you service your clients?
