How or why someone would be a good leader


Question: In this module, we talked more about leadership. We discussed the differences between leadership theory which is a well-substantiated (experimented, measured, observed) explanation of how or why someone would be a good leader, and a leadership style which is a way we classify the skills, behaviors, and characteristics of leaders to better explain their overall vibe. Remember, do not get too caught up in the differences between all these concepts (skills, behaviors, characteristics). There is a lot of crossover and gray area among these concepts. You will have complete autonomy in how you demonstrate the following criteria. Instructions Choose any new tool/method to demonstrate this competency (one not used before). Remember, that leadership capacity is demonstrated through your decision-making skills when making these choices. However, if you are really stuck reach out to your instructor early in the week for suggestions. Explain the most important/best leadership style, skills, behaviors, traits, and characteristics to lead change and innovation at an organization. There is no right or wrong answer about the best leadership style, but some are certainly more well received in our contemporary organizational environments (and better for innovation).
