1. Consider a social problem of interest to you. Speculate about the causes of that social problem and about potential solutions to that problem. Make an attempt to formulate a theory that could potentially explain how the problem arises. Now make that abstract theory into concrete hypotheses. Don't get hung up on making this a perfect hypothesis (e.g., correct causal logic), just take a stab at it.
2. How much of the socialization process takes place on an unconscious level? In other words, are people generally aware that socialization is taking place? Does this vary by age level? Can and should people be educated about the process of socialization at an early age so they can take more control of their own socialization? Explain in detail.2.
